Complete and submit an official Application for Admission with the non refundable $100.00 fee.

ADMISSION TESTING

Preschool: Testing not required.

 

 

 

 

Kindergarten through 5th Grade: Applicants will be tested by Education Specialists, Inc. A testing fee of $175.00 will be payable directly to them.

 

Copies of current and previous report cards and standardized test scores must be submitted. A teacher recommendation form from the applicants current school must be completed. Information obtained will remain confidential and will be used only for consideration of admission.

AGE

Preschool applicants must be three years old by September 1 of the year for which they are applying. Kindergarten applicants must be five and First Grade applicants six as of the September 1 date.

SCHOOL VISIT

A school visit is required of all applicants.

FINANCIAL AID

Ascension Episcopal School offers financial aid to families able to demonstrate financial need. Information and applications are available through the Business Office.

ADMISSION PRIORITIES

Qualified siblings and members of The Church of the Ascension are given a priority status. All applications are considered with special attention given to the overall composition of the class and readiness of the applicant.

ACCEPTANCE NOTIFICATION

Letters of acceptance will be mailed. Qualified students will be accepted on a space available basis following re-enrollment of our current students. The non-refundable Tuition Deposit is due with your acceptance.

Admission to Ascension is based on the applicant's intellectual and personal qualifications and the likelihood of a harmonious relationship with the school, applicant, and parents in order that the best interests of all are served.
